Page 1 of Abbie

Some have already seen this page - I decided to re-submit this image with minor adjustments as well as to have the whole Preface flow with one page after the other.

All works of course shown are protected by copyright like everything else on DA, so don't be stupid.

Looks great! Easy to read without text. I like how things seem to be set on an angle...

There's no letter... from a dead wife or otherwise.
Well, I don't have one of those anyway.

Great work....I am not really versed in this style of illustration so I am relatively green...however I really like the usage of zoomage hahha; in these frames for example, the house is displayed then the close up on the window, as with the sleeping child including the family in the background leading to the close up of the childs dreaming face! Very well executed! My funds are tight right now but I was wondering if you knew how much your book would sell for! Because if I can manage I will def. buy a copy! Keep up the great work, It looks awesome, and def. demonstrates great skill coupled with a steady hand! I LOVE IT!

Beautiful....almost reminds me of Arthur and the Invisibles. Something about the sepia tone reminds me of the deep south. Very pretty.
